Hello Lovelies,

Korres Guava Lip Butter Review

Hello.... Goodmorning! lol

How are you all doing? I am extremely sleepy at work and I am trying my best to keep my eyes completely open but they keep closing. Anyhow today i rushed through my makeup. It was one of those days where I just wore my MAC Prep & Prime and mascara and a bit of my eye bright from benefit. Then, I found my precious Korres Guava Lip Butter. My sister owned this lip butter for quite some time but I was the one who always used it for her. What most people do not understand is that all the Korres Lip Butters are supposed to leave a tint to your lips while giving them great moisture. Therefore, with the Guava lip butter you can see that it is a white creamy color so the tint goes on as a pale color. I have bright pink lips so this lip butter tones down the "pink-ness" of my lips and leaves a natural kind of nude color. It is like a slight wash of a creamy pale color. I know this sounds odd but I really love it. A little goes a very long way and especially because you also do not want to walk around with white lips. The lip butter is very moisturizing and blends easily on to your lips. On the small Korres Guava lip butter container it states "a buttery lip balm that melts on the lips and offers a shiny, tinted finish. The combination of shea butter and rice wax offers deep hydration and softness. Ideal for chapped lips." I say that, that statement is very right because i have been loving this product. My sister ended up giving it to me because she didnt like the nude finish (she prefers color on her lips) so you guys already know I was ecstatic. The lip butter tends to make your lips look more plump and nice. Many people do not like this lip butter because of the nude finish but that is one of the things I love the most about this product. The Korres guava lip butter costs about 10.00 in Sephora. That is all I have to say about this small bundle of greatness. Thanks for stopping by Whytheblush and have a blessed day.

MURAD WORKS WONDERS!!! Essential -C Cleanser & Energizing Pomegranate Moisturizer SPF 15

Hey!!!!

Sooo I have been on a mission to find my perfect skin regimen especially since I work at Sephora, now more than ever I think having heathly is one of my top priorities. So I have tried about 50- 75% of the skincare products we carry & I think Murad is here to stay! I have been using the Essential -C cleanser & the first time you use it your skin automatically feels different softer, cleaner, more even, etc. The great thing about it its that it cleanses and tones in one. another great thing is that if you rub it on your face for 30 seconds it cleans all the dirt inside your pore and if its used for 60 seconds its like a facial. Its really gentle for even the most sensetive skin. My favoritve moisturizer is Energizing Pomegranate Moisturizer with SPF 15, Both things together make my skin feel great soft and moist. My skin type is combination so these products together keep my skin looking healthy and moist opposed to dry and oily (yuck!!) Another thing about Murad is that there is something for every one, you can pick or choose cleansers, moisturizers etc. or you can buy the whole line in a kit. So if you are a person struggling with finding a skin regimen perfect for you look into Murad I promise you wont regret it!!

Anyone Going to the IMATS Pasadena 2010?

Hey Hey Hey,

Just got out of work my darlings and i’m here blogging. Feels great to be back and have all sorts of wonderful beauty related things to talk about. Well anyhow If you guys have followed my blog since I first began it almost a year ago in July.. you guys know how BAD I always wanted to go to the IMATS. To me it was a far away dream that I knew eventually would happen but in about ten days I am going to be in California for the very first time and in the IMATS at that. This is definitely living proof that dreams do come true. Anyhow besides being EXTREMELY excited I also am a bit nervous and a teeny bit clueless LOL. Like I said.. this is my first time in Cali and my first time in the IMATS so i’m not too sure of what exactly to expect. Any of you guys experiencing this same situation? Or does anyone have any advice about where to go in California during my stay? Anything I should know or do before the IMATS? I have been trying to do all the research possible to make this a wonderful experience. For those going I definitely look forward to meeting you guys. Well.. Any comments, questions and definitely advice is welcomed. As usual, I love hearing from you guys. Until next time my dolls ;-)

MAC Prep & Prime Review :-)

Wonderful People,

Whats up?! How is Everybody out there doing? Well since i’ve been slacking off on my beautiful blog i decided to just sit down and do this review although I should be sleeping. Oh well LOL anyways.. I bought the Prep & Prime Skin Primer about 2 months ago and out of 5 stars I would honestly give it all 5. Of course everybody has their own opinion but this more than works for me. Let’s begin with the packaging, this primer has a pump and u can gradually choose how much product you want to use. The primer itself has teeny tiny sparkling pigments that make your skin glow once used. I love this because there are days where I do not wear any tinted moisturizer, powder, bronzer ect. and on these days I just put on my prep and prime after my moisturizer and my skin looks great. I have very dry skin and I have never even thought of wearing this alone so keep that in mind. I always wear my Mario Badescu toner and then I choose a moisturizer to wear after the toner. So those are two things I always wear no matter what. Moving on, after putting the primer on my skin feels so GREAT!! I am amazed every single time I put it on because it is just so soft and nice as well as “glow-y”. When I bought this primer I was debating if I should get the one with SPF in it but that one did not have the pump and it was more expensive. Also one of the MAC counter people told me that the one without SPF was better for people with dry skin and then I was sold. I have read on reviews that the texture of the MAC Prep & Prime with SPF is different then the one without SPF. The one with SPF is thicker and creamier and the one without is more of a lotion and more fluid-like. One thing I L-O-V-E about this primer is that it does give you a “glow-y” look BUT it gives you a matte finish at that. On the rare occasions where I do wear foundation, this primer makes it very easy for the foundation to just glide on and I feel like the foundation blends into my skin a lot better. I am trying really hard to think if there is anything negative about this product but cannot think of anything... therefore it is my HG primer because I KNOW i will repurchase once I run out.

only TEN more days until IMATS I still can’t believe i’m going. Oh Em Freakin Gee... LOL

My Lovelies,

I have missed you guys sooooo much!! But life has taken a toll on me and i’m just beyond busy. As usual I try to say i’m going to come back and ect. but it’s hard when I have a million and one important things to do a day. Whenever I get a chance I’m going to try to blog but can’t promise much... Anywhoo THANK YOU for not abandoning the Whytheblush team as we have been busy with life itself & thank you for your constant understanding. Now to the updates...

Well I have decided to give myself a complete makeover. I dyed my hair for the very first time (oh no my hair is no longer a virgin!! lol) My natural hair color was “dirty blonde” and I have dyed it to “very dark brown” which almost looks black. I always wanted to go dark and so many people told me not to do it but i decided it was what I really wanted and I did it. I’m so happy I did because I loveeee this new look.

Currently I am taking two very hard classes related to my major and I am also working. On the weekends I am either doing sorority related things of with my family.. if not i will be blogging.

& the News of all News... *drum roll please* I AM... Going..... to.... the IMATS!!!!!!!!! and never have I been so excited. THANK YOU to my boyfriend who gave me this as a gift for my birthday which recently passed (May 30th) so if any of you will be there please let me know. I would love to meet you all.

Well that is the update of the day and my come back from my busy life. I’m going to sit down and plan a few future blog posts. I miss blogging and my beauty community immensely...

Hello there,

Its been near to forever since i did a blog post but ive been super busy with school and work, on the oher hand now that school is over (Thank you GOD!!) i have a tad bit more time to myself... anywho i had to do a blog post on the look i did today, usually at work i get a lot of compliments but today EVERYONE had something to say about my eye look.. my manager stated "its nice, reminds me of a peacock" lol and others said it reminded them of a rainbow well... idk my boyfriend was who gave me the idea of which colors to do... by the way i work in Sephora so its not like i looked wierd or overdone for work.. these are things our clients love to see and get amazed by when they see us get creative. okay enough rambling here is the look.. So I have been bragging since forever (or atleast it seems like forever to my boyfriend lol) about the Viva Glam Gaga. It is the cutest light, barbie pink everrrrrr. I feel that it can be worn with so many makeup looks as well as complimenting a wide variety of skin tones. Yesterday on another rainy day in the city I wanted to feel atleast a bit colorful and bright so I wore the color with a veryyyy simple gold and bronze eye.

I honestly think this is one of those colors everyone must have this spring/ summer season!

This is the look I find myself doing everytime i have class at like 8 am!! it makes me look awake but its also a look you can never go wrong with! =]

Products:

Face:
-Ponds Moisturizer
-Rimmel London Stay Matte Foundation (True Ivory)
-Ooh La Lift by benefit cosmetics (under eye puffyness)
-Boi-ing Concealer by benefit cosmetics (Medium)
-Lemon Aid by benefit cosmetics on lid
-Matt-nificent oil absorbing face powder by Mark. (Natural Buff)
-ELF's Healthy glow bronzer to contour (Warm Tan)
-Blush: Pinch o Peach by MAC (My favorite blush)
-Highlight: High Beam by Benefit Cosmetics
(All benefit Cosmetics used come in the Realness of Concealness kit!)

Eyes:
-prime lower lash line
-Lower lash line: a Soft bronze Gold eye shadow
-Using 2 mascaras apply on top lashes & outter half of lower lashes-
- 2 coats of Lash Blast by cover girl
- 1 Coat of Colossal
(This gives you longer fuller lashes)
- Use a clear gel on your eyebrows

This is just a quick post on the look I had on today... its just a neutral lid with a little winged out smokey-ish eye liner & purple on my lower lash line... If you guys want I can do a product by product look but I have to gather it all because I don't recall at the moment all the products I used off the top of my head!.. Neutral Eyes..

Hello there darlings!! Hope all is well... Earlier this week I went out to lunch with my boyfriend & I was wearing like red with cheetah prints & usually I don't do neutral eyes but I did & it still stands out a lot!.. I thought i would share it since i received so many compliments on this look.. which surprised me since it wasn't really me... but here goes nothing... i don't really remember everything i used on my eyes but im going to try....

Face:

-Mark: get a Tint; Tinted Moisturizer
-NYX: Concealer in a Jar
-Mark: Matte-nificent Oil-Absorbing Powder
-NYC: Matte bronzer in sunny
-MAC: Blush Pinch oh Peach
-ELF: Eyebrow Kit

Eyes:

-NYX: Jumbo pencil in Milk (innr eye corner)
-ALL eye shadows used are from the Coastal Scents 88 Color palette
(i will try to explain which ones)
-inner eye corner: WHITE
-All over lid: Champagne, Second row from left, Second from bottom up
-On the crease: Shimmery light brown, Second row from right, 3rd from the bottom
-Outer corner: Brown, Second row from right , Bottom corner & a little bit of the Black next to it
-Lash line: inner: white ;Outer: Brown
-Water line: only lined the outer corner in Maybelline's Define a Line (Ebony Black)
-eyeLashes: Wet & wild: intense Lashes (1 coat) Too faced: Lash injection(1 coat)
(I put on both mascaras because it gives a more intense look)

Lips:

Victoria's Secret: Minty Cinnamon apple =]

My Favorite Lipsticks!!!!

Hello there bloggers!!!!

I hope all is well & its been a while since i have posted in the blog but since i started making youtube videos i kindof have been finding it a lil easier to do videos than a blog post but i have not abandoned you guys!!! Let me move along to my favorite lipsticks.. they are 5 very different lipsticks by 5 different brands & 5 totally different colors & it done in no specific order.

1. NYX in Violet Ray

This is a very dark purple/ plum lip color, it doesn't last a very long time on but i still find it to be a very unique color! It has a type of gloss to it so you don't have to apply lip gloss.

2. NYC in Retro Red

This is a very matte red which i loveee i have it in the look i did with red lips previously & it stays on for a fairly long time .

3. Wet & Wild in 511B (hot pink)

Its a matte hot pink that stays on for a veryyyy long time I love wearing this lipstick when I dont do a dramatic look because its a very eye catching color.

4. Benefit in Fame Game

This is my baby!!! lol i had previous;y posted my haul post on this & im still inlove with it!! i explain that its a nice nude color with a little shimmer to it.. its just gorgeous!!

5. M.A.C in Urgent!

I love this lipstick because its a nice pink that can be put on with any type of look its nice & light blends with most lip tones & looks a little glossy after applied!

My Biggest & I mean BIGGEST Wish..

Hey Lovelies,

This is a short blog post so let me begin by saying don't expect much LOL. Anyhow, as you guys may have realized, the Makeup and Beauty Community is pretty large. When I started out playing with makeup and slowly becoming obsessed over it I had no clue there were many people with my same exact obsession. When I discovered YT and All these Beauty blogs I was extremely happy because I got to learn and hear from people who share my passion for Beauty related topics. Now that I am very involved with the makeup community (and by "involved" i mean that i am subscribed to many beauty related channels on YT and I follow a numerous amount of beauty blogs as well as follow many of these talented individuals via twitter & facebook) I keep hearing about the well-known "IMATS" - International Makeup Artist Trade Show. I discovered what the IMATS was this summer when I started my blog and YT. Now I can only DREAM really hard of going. I purchase makeup on a budget so that tells you sort of where I am financially. With that said, I doubt I can go to the IMATS anytime soon for any of the upcoming shows. But Seriously... it is one of my dreams to go to one of these shows and experience the talent of many that share this crazy passion with me. Well, on that note i'm going to go to bed and just dream of being in the IMATS someday LOL thanks for stopping by guys and til' next time!!

Subtle Red Lips

Hey Everyone,

How are you all doing?? Well a few weeks ago I tweeted about how I "daRED" to wear red lipstick outside. Because I am so pale I have always been afraid to wear red lipstick outside. I've always loved how red lipstick make people look so nice and sophisticated without doing much but wearing the lipstick but for some reason I didn't feel confident enough to go outside wearing it. Although this isn't a bold red lip I think it is one step closer to it. In this look I wore Maybelline's Color Sensational Lipstick in Red Revival. The color is really beautiful and build-able. I personally chose to wear it this way but it can look more bold if you really want it to look that way. What do you guys think?? I might just do the look they use to advertise this lipstick someday like this----->

Amethyst Smokes - Maybelline Expert Wear Quad & Some Talking <3

Haylo Beautiful People,

Today was my.. I guess you can say "month-aversary" with my Boyfriend. Four years and a Month and by today I mean 1/10/10 even though this will be posted on 1/11/10 LOL. But yeah.. we went to eat at my favorite spot: Bubba Gump and then we went to Sephora so I could get "metro chic" nail polish from Sephora by OPI. He rushed me in Sephora because he knew I would spend hours in there and after that we went to see "Youth Revolt" <- It was definitely a great & funny movie. So I guess today went well. So now i'm home reading magazines and I went through some of my pictures and found this one. This is a picture of my makeup for a night out. My roommate had gotten a bunch of eyeshadows from the drug store and I picked "Amethyst Smokes" from the Maybelline Expert Wear Quads. I decided to follow the steps as it said just because I wouldn't like the colors in any other combination. I was impressed with the pigmentation on these eyeshadows quite honestly. I didn't expect these colors to go on so smoothly and with such vibrant colors. I had stopped buying drugstore eyeshadows (with the exception of H.I.P. duos) and decided to stick to department store brand just because I felt that it was worth paying more to get more. I feel that the Maybelline Expert Wear Quad in "Amethyst Smokes" is pretty awesome. This is the only Quad I can speak for since it is the only one I have used but I have read many reviews on the others and they are not that bad as well. Therefore two thumbs up for these shadows. If you like any of these or were thinking of getting them, do so. I doubt you will regret it. In the picture above I used my Boots Botanics cream liner in black and my Rimmel London Sexy Curves Mascara in Very Black. These also worked pretty well. Look how amazing my eyelashes look...People dared to say they were fake but Nope! all mine. Hope you enjoyed this post :-) And as usual.. Til' next time ladies & gents <3

This is a haul on things i bought this past Monday and today! its nothing major but i am in love! =]

#1 Kirkland Signature by Borghese Cosmetic Brushes

So I have seen seeing many makeup gurus on youtube bragging about how these brushes were GREAT!... & let me tell you they were def not kidding about the texture!.. it is synthetic bristles but it definitely does not feel that way, the way i described it was "it feels like touching the outside of brand new Ugg boots! I have not tried the brushes yet so i am not able to say if they shed or whatever the case may be but for the price I am satisfied already!.. it brings 12 brushes(2 powder brushes 1 travel & 1 regular, 1 large flat top brush, 1 large angled foundation brush, 2 eye shadow brushes 1 travel& 1 large, 2 eye blending brushes 1 travel & 1 large, 2 flat eyeliner brushes 1 travel, 1 large, 1 large eye smudger brush, & 1 brown brush and Spooley Duo), 2 cases 1 for the travel brushes & 1 for the large brushes, and last but not least a eyelash curler.. & all of this for... *Drum Roll* REG. Price $19.99 but i guess it was on sale for $13.97 sold only at Costco...

#2 Full Finish Lipstick by Benefit

Well this lipstick was unexpectedly purchased.. I was given a gift card for Macy's during the holiday season & i was spending a day with the #1 woman in my heart my beautiful co-author Michelle of course!!lol & we went to Macy's because she wanted to go to Macy's, so i have been wanting a nude lipstick & out of no where im like i want a lipstick like what Kim Kardashian wears (Michelle's idol) and the sales associate shows me the color called Fame Game & it is gorgeous, I tried this lipstick yesterday and i was amazed at how long is stays on in a 6 hour period i only had to re apply once which surprised me its a shimmery nude & its just beautiful because it doesn't have a cakey looking finish like most matte lip colors do & this item is $18.00

I was going to get a paint pot from MAC but the sales associate at benefit did a "make over" to Michelle & I, which we think she doesn't really know what she is doing but whatever i fell in love with the color called birthday suit it can be used the same exact way as paint pot & i used this product yesterday with a nice brown & purple smokey eye & may i say i received many compliments.. its the type of color that can make any eye color pop especially if applied with focus in the inner eye corner, this product is $19.00

Swap Shop / Thrift Shop Haul Post

Hello Everybody...

How are you all? well a lot of you guys know that I am in Miami, Florida. Those that follow me on twitter know this and how it's going, road trip and all. The other day I tweeted about how I was on my way to a thrift shop although it is called a "swap shop" (not that we swapped anything idk lol) but yeah we went there and um it was pretty cool. I got a few good things so I cannot complain. The thrift shop was HUGE it was in Ft. Lauderdale I believe but i'm not quite sure. Anyhow in order to shop in there you need a lot of patience and energy because you really need to look thoroughly through things. Overall, I got accesories at good prices such as: bags, jewelry, sunglasses and a keychain. Everything I got I truly liked and was looking for. Ok enough about me and my experience here are pictures and prices :-)

1) First thing up is my new favorite bag, It is a no brand bag made out of a leather type material, it is very simple and very vintage. It was only $10.00

2) Second is this beautiful brown clutch that can be used for a variety of occasions, to dress up or even dress down for only $2.00

3) Third is this BEAUTIFUL Keychain by Kat Von Zeeland. It is huge and makes quite a statement, it can be used for your keys or to hang on to your favorite bag... it's up to you. This was only $5.00

4) My fourth item is a simple gold filled chain, it is very pretty and versatile since I can also wear it up or down with any outfit. The lady at this particular stand gave it to me for free since i had bought a few things from her already..

5) Fifth item is this set. It is a thick collar chain along with a thick bracelet that has a little airplane as a charm. I got these together for $8.00

6) Item number six is these Ed Hardy sunglasses, Now i'm not one hundred percent sure they are authentic but they do look pretty Legit. Regardless I LOVED how they looked on me and I only paid $8.00 so even if they turn out to not be authentic I am still satisfied with them.

7) Up Seventh are these earrings, They were each a dollar ($1.00) so that was good and they are light weight so they are very comfortable to wear.

8) Of course, I had to save the best for last. Here is my Authentic Dooney & Bourke bag, Real Leather. I thought it was so rare and beautiful and on top of it all, it was barely used!! It is supposed to be a messenger bag but the long strap is missing. I didn't mind using it as a hand purse therefore I got it. I only paid $30.00 for this bag and I was soooooo happy after I bought it. Here she is... My new baby!

So yeah guys, This was my huge thrift shop haul... Like I said before I am very happy with everything I got. I can't wait to get back home and just put everything where they belong (yeah i'm a dork like that lol) Please tell me what you guys think I LOVE to hear from you guys, you guys don't even know how happy that makes me, it makes me feel like someone out there cares for the effort I put into this blog. I NEED this in my life!!!

I have been wanting this brush since the summer time... It was sold out and out of stock and now guess what... It's discontinued in the United States :-( I'm still not giving up though, I heard I can order from and international MAC store and they would deliver. I really want it ... Do any of you have this brush MAC 180? Well anyhow i'm waiting to decide our plans for today with my boyfriend. We're going to go apply for some jobs and have lunch together. Ofcourse i'm going to stop by MAC lol and ask about this brush and also because I want the e/s carbon since I need a real black e/s. I'm also going to stop by Sephora but i'm not sure I want anything from there. I just want to work there geez lol Besides all of this I'm looking for cute boots and a long blazer that I could wear with leggings. So let's see what I find today. Hey There Guys,

How are all of you doing?? Well the other day it was my grandparents Diamond anniversary and we had a big reception for them. It was a really nice event for my whole family to attend and celebrate together. For this event all of the grandchildren had to wear silver or gray and the minute they told me that I just thought of a gray smokey eye and nude lips. I knew how I was going to do the gray eyes but I had not yet aquired the nude lips I wanted so ofcourse I headed to MAC and got the lipstick of my dreams... Myth! I was sooo happy to buy it. And well here are the pictures of what I did to myself. I was pretty happy with the results and many people gave me compliments on the makeup.. what do you guys think?? I did a similar look on my sister the same day but a less shimmery gray smokey eye with pale pink

Hey Guys !!!

So i'm finally on my winter break... I'm happy but at the same time i'm stressed. I'm really working on saving money because I want to move out in my own apartment by this summer but I cannot continue working in my job because it is on campus which is far from me to commute daily. Therefore I've been thinking of applying to some seasonal jobs I might enjoy and as you all know I enjoy makeup... I would die to work for MAC Cosmetics but I heard it's such a process to work there and time is ticking for me.. I wanted to try Sephora so I'm going to see if I speak with the manager in person tomorrow. Do any of you know anything about working there or have worked there? Or do any of you know about any jobs that involve makeup.. ? Urghh If you guys have any advice please let me know... I was even thinking of doing freelance but Ofcourse I would need clients for that and ect.. How have you guys been doing??? I havent heard from many of you in such a long time ( I know thats my fault for beeing gone lol) but as I told you guys I'm organizing the upcoming blog posts and I need to work extra hard on my channel. I really wanted to do a blog post and a new video on frequently asked questions about me just so that you guys get to know me better but I need you guys to ask me questions first so I'm putting the invite out there LOL you guys can askkk me questions!!! :-) On another note, I made four years with my boyfriend about 10 days ago.. 12/10/05 and I got a new promise ring which I think is sooo beautiful. I'll put up the picture of it. He is also struggling to work a new job so we can finally move out. Life is beautiful but oh soo stressful! Ok so off I go to plan the next few blog posts :-) I really hope you guys enjoy...

Myyyyyy lovelies!

Well, as you guys saw.. I was absent for quite some time. So many people were wondering if I fell off the face of the earth or something but no worries I didn't lol. I missed blogging and all of my readers alot. I saw that my author friends posted a few things while I was gone... I hope you guys enjoyed that. NYX eyeliners & cream eyeshadow Haul/ Review

HELLO THERE BLOGGERS!!..

well I know I have been MIA.. well the whole whytheblush team has been kindof MIA but classes have started and we have even more stress packed on now ugh! But we will try to update things as much as possile :-).. Well due to all this stress I have done a whole lot of shopping!! I have bought many eye liners from NYX & they are.................................... going to be described below =]

#1: Cream Eyeshadow(MILK): I have seen many makeup gurus on youtube use this particular cream eye shadow for dramatic looks or the inner lid in a smokey eye.... and i have been trying it out and it is great!.. i feel like dramatic looks last longer with this cream eyeshadow on the lid... I advise that you guys try it, you might just find one of your new fav products =]

[numbers 2-7 are all NYX eyeliners, 6 are very bold colors which could be used to create a look such as the one michelle created named..My Makeup on 8/6/09 <3] style="font-weight: bold;">#2: 918 Whit Pearl: This is not a matte white eyeliner,it has a little shimmery to it but nothing drastic!.. I love to use it for my day to day look as in when my eyes look like i havent sleep and want to make them look wide awake!!... the shimmeryness (i think i just made up a word) gives it a silverish tone in different lighting which makes they eyes look evern better

#3:920 Lime green: This eyeliner gives the same look as the color michelle used for her own look.. if you want to use it for night wear it looks really nice mixed with black eyeliner at the water line

#4: 917 Purple: I have come to notice since I purchased this color that it makes my eyes stand out A LOT.. I have really light brown eyes but they arent hazel neither.. This purple has shimmer to it as well

#5:836 Bloom: This is like a HOT PINK.. it is a Matte eyeliner and an extreme BOLD color goes well with very light eye shadow and then a hint of this color at the bottom lash line/ water line

#6: 908 Seafoam green: This seafoam green is veryyyy shimmery and is actually like a light blue.... looks very cool in different lights cant really explain it much because its a very unique color!

#7: 813 Plush Red: This color is very similar to Bloom but it is very different.. this red can be used for many different looks.. i like it very much to highlight my inner corner or outer corner very cool color and it is matte aswell....

Now the best part is I purchased these things in the city(Washington Heights/ Bronx) in Washington heights it was cheaper the eyeliners are $1 mean while in the bronx they are $1.49.. if you live in the city and would like to know the addresses and how to get there just let me know on a comment or email me at Whytheblush@gmail.com Subject: Rosanna

GUYSSSS!!!

First of all, I missed you guys so so so so MUCH! like crazy. I blogged my life away during the summer now i'm back at school and its just no time for my hobbies and my loves (you guys). I haven't been able to visit much but I've seen that My darlings: Kathy & Roxxy have done a good job entertaining u guys. I also have not had time to do anything on YT not even an update like this one. For the most part i've been getting a lot of makeup, as usual. No hauls :-/ And If I sat here and told u guys everything I did get, it would take forever. But this does mean many reviews to come in the near future. School is getting really hard and life is getting tough. Once everything gets a bit settled then I would come back with many new exciting things. The girls are also going back to school: Rosanna and Katherine therefore, they will update a bit less. THANK YOU to all the new followers. Never in a million years would I have thought to have 58 followers! Thanks sooo sooo much for the positive feedback. Everyone thinks that my hair is fake. I have had men and women alike stop me in the street or wherever to ask me if all of my hair was actually mine. My reaction is usually something like this...

Person: Is that yours?

Me: Oh, you mean this (point at my hair)

Person: Yes, is that yours ?

Me: (Holding my hair and with squinted eyes) Yes, its mine. Why? Does it look fake?

Person: Oh, no, no, It looks nice (They walk away)

ME (to myself) You should have seen me when I was a child.

Yes, people actually have the audocity to ask me whether the hair I have had forever is mine. I ask whether its the shine, the texture, the amount... I really do not know, since when I ask my little sister and my mother (who call it the wig) if they can provide adjectives, all they say is "fake" barbie-like", which for an English major aren't exactly the most descriptive adjectives.

They say it looks fake when its straight, but really fake when its curled. I think I should just shave my hair off, but maybe they will start asking "Are you crazy?"

I can't wait until I do the Brazilian Keratin Treatment (I mentioned it in the Global Beauty: Brazilian Bombshell).
My mom ordered some in the salon so it can be applied to my hair.. I can't wait!!!!!!.

This is embarassing (WHYYYYYY).... Well that is me, of course, and in this "lovley" picture I am in mi casa (my house) posing for my little sister, who was taking photography classes (She was 11, don't be harsh lol). I am in a dress my sister designed for her prom and I modeled it in my school fashion show. It was a very cold, sunny, Janurary Saturday, two years ago; yet, the windows were open all the way. I look like a squinting monster (Doesn't get as untampered as that) (The light pastel shadow makes my eyes look tiny). I absolutley love that dress and it is not even mine, and I love the portrait that hangs behind it since mom knows how much I love orchids (It hangs in our living room). Not such a great story, but I was tagged lol.

This pic was taken the day before our One year and 3 months, (anniversary date:11.13.07) we were at the park just walking around even though the day was extremely cold! & I got sick that day but it was my idea after all!! & it was well worth it we had a great day, especially since i remember i was really stressed and stuff but yea this is my boyfriend and he is THE BEST! I love him with all my heart and he has been there for me through a lot!! He really is like my best friend!..

This Picture was the day of My cousin's wedding. Yep, It is my prom dress. But I loved that dress soooo much that I decided to wear it one more time. As you guys can see the look is a bit different though. My hair is down and styled differently and all. I went to the Bathroom and took this picture with my phone, Palm Treo which matched my dress. Mascara Review!!

Hello There bloggers=] So here is a Review on a Few mascaras that I have been using for 2 weeks or more... Ill be rating them from a ...1-5

1. E.L.F earth and water mascara duo

I believe this mascara isn't bad it does not compliment a dramatic look, this mascara is more like an everyday type... I personally use the waterproof side more because it gives more volume and plump than the non waterproof side... but hey for $1 dollar its a great buy but its def. not at the top of my have to buy

2. Lash Blast by Covergirl

This mascara can be described in one simple word WOW!... I just loveeee this mascara I bought it at Target 2 for $8 which was a bargain and ive used this Mascara for about every look!!! If u want the main focus of your eyes to be your eye lashes this is the mascara to go for!!

3. The Colossal Volum' Express by Maybelline
I had been wanting to try this mascara but I was always iffy about it.. The brush did not convince me because it was typical bristles until I went on my trip to Virginia Beach I forgot to bring mascara!! So we stopped at walmart in Delaware in the city Colossal is about $8 well I saw it was $4.59 so i got it!! and I really like it I wish I would've bought it sooner its the type of mascara that with 1 coat its good for simple eyes and 2-3 coats it gives nice dramatic eyes

No. 7 Stay Perfect Liquid Eyeliner in Gilt

Boots was right on point when they named this liquid eyeliner Gilt...It's like liquid gold! I purchased this for $9 in a Target haul I am yet to post ( I shall, I shall, I promise), and boooyyyy am I happy to have done so. The packaging only serves as a way to restrain the power and transfixing characteristics of this beautiful liner. When I first opened it, I could already see that a little would go a long way since the constincency is very liquidy almost like new nail polish. I first applied it as a liner, but when I was applying it to the other eye I accidently smudged it, so I decided to spread it using my finger over my eye like eyeshadow. The results were breathtaking (The picture above)! The application was smooth, even, and intense. The staying power is excellent and there was no creasing for me without primer (I have very oily lids). I am in love. If you guys ever run across this, give it a shot it won't dissapoint.

Hello there bloggers!!

Well I've been MIA for a little while but my life has been a roller coaster.. So many things have been going on and then I went on vacation to Virginia Beach && Washington DC.. Virginia Beach is GORGEOUS.. I wanted to stay for longer but hey I had to get back to get ready for classes.. Im going to Try to post up pictures of Virginia Beach I'm still amazed that such a beautiful place could be so close to the city (6 hours- 7 hours).. Washington is beautiful as well but it reminds me of downtown manhattan since it is such a fast pace enviornment...

Natural Makeup Look

When I go back to school in a couple of weeks, I doubt I will have the same amount of time at my vanity that I do now (That's about 2 hrs lol. I think its fun). I did this look the other day in about 10 minutes. It is very natural as the picture shows, but it still enhances my eyes. Hope you guys like it:

Burjois Regard Duo Chrome eyeliner in Bronze
Elf liquid eyeshadow in mocha
MAC paint pot n Indianwood
Elf liquid eyeliner pen in Coffee
Avon Uplift Mascara in Black
Face:
Smashbox Healthy FX concealer in Medium/Dark (under the eyes)
Mary Kay Loose Powder in Beige
Wet & Wild Matte Bronzer as blush

Elf Studio line Total face brush

(The eye makeup was applied with my fingers)

Face:

1.) I moisturized my face and I primed the t-zone with the MOM.

2.) I applied Smashbox concealer under my eyes to brighten the area. (I dont apply it anywhere else, but if you have spots you need to cover you can apply the product as you please. I also did not use foundation, so you can add that step).

3.) I applied the Mary Kay loose powder over my T-zone with Elf studo line total face brush.
4.) I applied Prestge clear mascara over my eyebrows, then I filled in the sparse areas in with Avon brow powder in brunette.

5.) I applied Wet &Wild matte bronzer as blush with MAC 182 Kabuki brush

Eyes:

(My camera sucks lol)

1.) Lined the bottom and top lashes with Burjois Regard Duo Chrome eyeliner in Bronze and smudged unto the lid , going a little above the crease.
2.) I applied Elf liquid eyeshadow on top of the smudged pencil and let it dry, I then applied MAC paint pot in Indianwood, and blended with my finger. I blended only a little over the crease.

3.) I lined my top lash line with Elf liquid eyeliner pen in Coffee. I applied the liner very thinly and close to the lash line, so that it looked more natural. I added more Burjois Duo chrome liner n bronze to my bottom lash to add intensity.

4.) I appled 2 coats of Avon Uplift mascara on top and bottom lashes.

Lips:

1.) I used MAC lip conditioner (I'm not big on lip gloss or lipsticks, but I do a lot of it lol).

Weekend...

Hey Guys,

How are you guys doing? I hope you are all doing great. I am alright.. Today I went to a lake with my family to celebrate my little brothers belated birthday (it was really on August 13th) & that went well. I refused to get in the water though lol. Then in the night My sister, cousin and I went to see the movie 500 days of summer. I'm going to say the movie was nice & very different but I disliked feeling heartbroken for the poor dude through the movie. That's just my opinion on it. You guys let me know what you think if you've watched it. But yeah tomorrow we might go to the pool or I might simply go home & begin to pack to go back to school :-/ Yeah I'm not super excited. I feel like I didn't enjoy my summer the way I should have But what can be done now.

Random Thought....

Moving on, Today I tried the Revlon Colorstay Foundation (Normal to dry Skin) & did like it alot! I'm going to give it a few more shots before I do a review. I want to make sure I like it so that I don't give you guys false information. I used my Sonia Kashuk Blending Sponge & I also love that thing!! I must do a review for it as well. Flawless & easy application. Thats just a random fact I wanted to share.

How are you guys doing today? Well The Post for today Will be Swatches of My 5 new Nicole by OPI nail polishes. I Wore each color on one fingernail & took pics in Broad Daylight. So here they are. From Left to Right (Pinky to Thumb)

The Colors are:

1) Believe it, Do it [hot pink color]

Personal Opinion:

I really Liked these Colors, They are very colorful cheerful colors that can be worn to play up any outfit. Excuse my wacky job at swatching I did them pretty quick LOL But overall I did like these Nail Polishes & do recommend. I got these at Target, They were right by the regular OPI nail polishes. Good Pigmentation & colors, Loved the brush to apply on the nails with, Nice packaging. So I am satisfied :-)

My boyfriend Luis Andy got her for me(Actually he got me 2 turtles, Timothy & Princess but unfortunately Timothy died :-( R.I.P. timmie!!) Anyhow, Princess has been with me since April 2009. ROAD TRIP: IN ORLANDO, FL

Hey guys.. It has been a long time. It just so happens that I am on a road trip to FLorida!!!! Yup... Mom decided that it was a great idea to take the car and drive all the way down here. We actually made it in record time. We drove for 14 hrs, and it usually takes 24 hrs to get to Florida (ALL thanks to Mom's speeding lol). I must admit that it is absolutley beautiful down here (I took the pivture below while i was on the road. I was always skeptical of coming down here since I am a CITY girl).

So, there is a lot to come in the days ahead. I am trying to figure out how to record a video so that I can finally post one on the whytheblush YouTube channel (If you haven't already, you should go chek it out. Michelle is amazing!!!!! love you). I also will have a FLorida haul and review when I get back to the city (ZAPZYT, LA COLORS, EQUATE, MAC MATTE CREME, ELIZABETH ARDEN, SMASHBOX...) .

Michelle has suggested that I do my Global Beauty segments as videos so that they can be interactive. I can't wait to do that.

After I get back from the spring tommorow, I will try to post my first look post (Fingers Crossed)...

A simple Hot Pink & Silver Look

How are you guys doing today? I hope all you guys are doing great :-) well today I want to introduce to you guys my simple Hot Pink & silver look. I feel that this look attracts attention without being entirely dramatic. I would say it's a simple look with a spark of drama. Does that make sense to any of you? I hope it does LOL it makes sense in my brain. Anyhow I wore this look to go to the movies with my best friend Steven, His brother Richard & My boyfriend Luis Andy. I wore simple white shorts and one of my gray college tee's. Very simple & laid back. I also wore a big bag & some gladiator flat heel sandals. I don't know if you guys can picture it but yea I tried. Here is the look. Enjoy.

Well guys, That is how I achieved that look. I would recommend you guys dab some eyeshadow on top of the silver (like a metallic gray shadow) and the hot pink (a similar hot pink color) just to set the color and so that the colors look more vibrant and last longer. Mine lasted me the night but I was only out for about 4 hours so it really depends how long you guys plan on being out. Hope you guys enjoyed this look & found the directions helpful. Sigma Brushes Haul & Mini Review

Hey Guys :-)

How are you all doing? Well it is 4:46am on my end and i'm here writing a blog post LOL. Today I decided to post my haul on Sigma Brushes because I have them for about a week and a half so I can include a mini review along with it. I say mini review because it will not be full depth/each brush sort of thing. It will mostly be my overall thoughts & some singled out brushes. I might do a full depth review after using them for longer. So let me get started.

Haul & My Experience:

I ordered the sigma makeup professional brushes complete set without a brush roll for $64.00 USD. Delivery was on point.. took about 3-4 days so that was good. Packaging was also good. It came in a padded envelope. The actual brushes were all individually wrapped with plastic over them. The big face brushes had the protective plastic sleeves to keep their shape. The brushes came inside a black see through pouch. A pamphlet was included with information on the brushes & what they are used for, made out of, & their name/numeration. That was very useful. Best of all they included a free gift which was an E.L.F. Quad. I thought that was a very nice gesture of them.

Mini Review:

The first thing I did was feel the brushes & my very first impression was: WOW! I couldn't believe how soft they were. Automatically I became excited to use them. I washed them with my MAC brush cleanser right away and was very careful with them. I put them to dry overnight and when I came home from work the following day they were ready for use.

I have been using these brushes for about a week or so and i'm impressed with the quality of these brushes. I cannot compare them to MAC brushes since I have only owned 2 MAC brushes but I have watched so many comparison reviews that I do not feel the need to buy MAC brushes to compare. From the reviews I have watched on YT from people that almost only owned MAC items, they all have mentioned how these brushes are either equal or better quality. To me that is very impressive & believable.

If you are wondering if these brushes shed, Here is the real deal...They don't. The one brush that has shed on me was the SS 150 but that is the all over face brush. This brush is a very dense brush so shedding is only normal. Therefore, this does not disappoint me. Honestly, if you want an all over face brush that does not shed then it cannot be dense. I prefer dense & full brushes so i'm willing to accept the shedding. On another note many reviews do claim that the MAC 150 also sheds this same way because on the density of the brush. So that is basically all I have to say about shedding.

My Overall Opinion:

Do I recommend these brushes? YES i most definitely do. You will get 12 good quality brushes for a great price. The brushes average out to be about $5 dollars and some change each and that is truly amazing considering how great these brushes are. For some people this is still an investment (like me since I am a college student with a summer job) and even so... it is an investment worth making. I do not regret my purchase of these wonderful set of brushes. I am actually saving up to get the travel size set in "nice in pink."

So I really like to try things from Wet & Wild since most things are good quality at a really cheap price. I Love MAC, Sephora, Urban Decay, etc but as much as I do our wallets can't always afford it! So I went on a mission to find a product similar to MAC's Fluidline && guess what?!?!?! I think I found it! Believe it or not this can be compared to MAC!!!! yes i said it MAC!.... Its so smooth,smudge proof and long lasting! trust me its very long lasting maybe 24 hrs or more.. The only thing i suggest is to use a different brush u buy separately idk but i don't like the little brush it brings i feel like its TOO stiff and it hurt my eye lid i don't know why maybe I"m sensitive but i bought a different brush. I don't use it all the time because I feel like for everyday wear its better with a pencil but that is my opinion. I have been using it for 2 weeks already and its Wet & Wilds best product! If later on I find any problem with the product I will definitely post it up but other than that so far its a great product and its only $3.99 so I would suggest everyone tries it out it a big different to MAC's fluidline being $15.00. Today I'm going to post my personal review for the E.L.F. clarifying pressed powder for those of you who are thinking of purchasing or for those who are looking for an inexpensive powder to get.

Price: $1.00 <-- unbelievable right?

Pros:

*Excellent to set your foundation and /or concealer.

*You will see the difference with just one simple application

*because a little goes a long way.

So like a month ago I started seeing so many great reviews on this palette and I felt i just HAD to get it.. so guess what I did! May i say this is the most wonderful thing on EARTH!.. who ever invented it is a genius, from the color to the eye shadows texture its just wonderful. What I like most about this palette is the fact that it has a large variety of colors from neutrals to bright colors it has them all!.. Another thing is that is has both shimmery colors as well as matte. This Palette can be an asset to anyones makeup collection. When it comes to the right brushes to use with this palette I would suggest ELF's eye brushes, why? well because they are small and fits right into the color and grabs just the right amount! My Temporary Beauty Corner & other ramblings :-)

Hello wonderful people,

So today I stayed home all day sick. The only thing I found to entertain myself was to fix up my room and finally make some space for my beauty stuff. Except this is only temporary because in less than 3 weeks i'm headed back to college & have to pack some of these babies LOL. I am now in love with my little beauty corner. As you guys can see my mirror is on the wall (kathy gave it to me thank youuu kitty kat!!) and all my beauty stuff is pretty much organized on the different shelves. It is pretty easy to do my makeup now & find exactly what I need. My makeup collection is very small as you guys can see but i am growing it little by little. I carefully have it all planned out as far as my makeup collection goes. I hope to move out before next summer and if I do I am definitely planning to have a beautiful Makeup vanity and nice storage for my makeup. Oh boy i dream a lot of dreams lol. Pay It Foward: Milk of Magnesia as Primer

OMGGGGG!!!! WHHHAAATTTT!!!!! You put stuff you are suppose to ingest for digestive purposes on your face????? YUP. The importance of paying it forward is just that: Things you never would have thought of become life and money savers. I came across this tip on YOUTUBE (The holy grail of holy grail worthy information). Since I am not afraid to try anything, I didnt hesitate to go and pick up a bottle of Phillip's Milk of magnesia.

So what is this thing suppose to do for my skin???

First of all, you guys must know the extent of the oiliness of my face. Michelle knows the following information is true. When my face is at its oilest i look as if I am sweating from running a marathon. I then jokingly take out 5 blotting sheets and stick them unto my face as if i'm wearing a mask. I then remove them and I look like i have only walked up 26 flights of stairs rather than have ran a marathon.

Now, the milk of magnesia is suppose to act as a mattifyer, primer, pore minimizer, redness reducer, and acne treatment.

I apply a thin layer of MOM with my elf foundation brush after the usual washing, toning, treating, and moisturizing. I apply to my t-zone and the huge pores on the side of my nose. I let it dry and rub off any chalkiness that may occur (The less you use the better it is). I then apply my makeup as usual.

So my thought on this product is that it absolutley works. I was amazed at how matte my face stayed from 11 am till 12am. It also has relieved the redness on my face and I even used it as an overnight acne spot treatment. This product also works great as a mask when applied in a thick layer. I say you must try this. (You can read more reviews on MOM on makeupalley.com) This may become my HG in the primers category (I usually use Monistat anti-chafing gel).

WARNING: THIS PRODUCT IS ONLY FOR THE REALLY OILY, FOR IT DRIES THE SKIN.

When purchasing (It cost $10 for the big bottle and about $4 for the smallest) remember to buy the original without sugar or flavoring. Generic brands can also work aswell as Phillip's.

MAC ATTACK: Fluidline in Blacktrack

I am not in no way a mac-aholic, but props have to be given where it is due. I purchased MAC's Fluidline in Blacktrack about a month ago, and I must say I absolutley love this stuff. It is like Crack. For those of you who don't know, Fluidline is a gel liner that comes in a glass pot and can be applies with an eyeliner brush like Mac's 209 or an angled liner brush like Mac's 266. The phenomenal thing about this product is its versatility. The gel liner can be applied on the eyelid for a winged- cat eye look, as a primer for a smokey look, as a tight line liner, as a waterline liner, and even as a beauty mark maker. The staying power is incredible. There is no smudging, fast drying, and application is so quick and easy. This product definitely gets a 10 star rating.

Everything seems to be MADE IN CHINA, but what do we know about Chinese beauty secrets?

Like all other nationalities, the ideal chinese beauty has changed throughout the ages. The Chinese woman now has freedom to express herself; therefore, there is no standard to what a chinese woman should look like. To me, Chinese women seem to have an effortless, minimalist view of beauty. Their beauty comes from flawless skin and gorgeous shiny hair (Think Lucy Liu). Let's admit it not all of us are blessed with porcelean skin or naturally shiny hair, but there is always a product that can help:

For Flawless Skin:

Water (Free)- You can not have enough of this elixer of life. Infact, I will ask that all followers of this blog consume atleast 12 cups of water a day. Trust me, you do not want to be stuck in the hospital on a Sunday because you are dehydrated and have developed a kidney stone (The pain is like being stabbed again, again, and again).

St. Ives Aprioct Scrub ($3-$5)

Great skin starts with a great product. I use St. Ives about 4 times a week and whenever I think I need a scrub. The apricot granules are gentle enough to not hurt and rough enough to scrub away dull dead skin cells.

For Porcelean Skin:

Maybelline Pure Makeup Foundation ($4- $6)

When I first bought this foundation I did not like it, but now that I know the importance of hydrated skin this product is great. It workks best on well hydrated skin (Don't slack on the moisturizer or the water). This foundation also happens to be one of the most affordable. It is made of 50% water (YESSS WATTERRR), which does not clog pores. I apply this with a sponge on the areas I need it. It offers light coverage, but it is buildable. It is a matte finish.

For Shiny Hair:

Biosilk Silk Therapy (Varied prices $12-$30)

I love this stuff. The smell is enticing and it is multi-purpose. These silk drops can be applied to damp hair as a shine treatment, to dry hair as shine serum, and to hair as heat protectant before using heat. I religiouly use this everyday. A little goes a long way, so my 20 ounce bottle still has 6 months of use in it (Ibought the bottle in December and I still haven't gotten half done with it).

For long lashes:

Avon Uplift Mascara ($6-$8)

This is one of my HG (Holy Grail) Mascaras. The fibers offer length and even application. I love how this mascara can enhance a natural look, but can also be layered to intensify a sexy look.

HOLA CHICAS AND CHICOS!!!!

This is probably not a suprise to Michelle, but today I spent a little bit of money on some beauty products that I felt I needed (In my mind I need all beauty products lol).

Maybelline Mineral Power Bronzer in Sunset Bronze ($9)

I have wanted this since I saw the ad in LATINA Magazine August 2009. It features one of my favorite novela actresses Dana Garcia. As I do with all things, I decided I had to have this bronzer because I wanted a glow like hers. I havent tested it yet, but I will tommorow and for the next week on my trip to Florida (ROAD TRIPPP!!!!!).

Tea Tree Oil Stick ($2)

I needed some tea tree oil on the go. If this stuff really works then I must have it on me at every moment of my life.

Tea Tree Oil ($9)

I remember reading a review on the properties of 100% tea tree oil. Supposedly, this australian oil can clear acne, clear dark spot, cure dandruff, clear athletes's foot, etc. It's a do it all oil, and I can not wait to use it (I have this nasty cystic zit on my cheek...EWWWWW).

Nikka Lip stick in Ruby Red ($1)

(Ruby Red is the red on the right)

After falling in love with Revlon's Cherries in the Snow lipstick, but not the price tag, I decided I needed a truw red liostick. Thanks to the millions of Dollar stores and Beauty Supply stores in my neighborhood, it is very easy to get my hands on cheap but good cosmetics. This lipstick is really pigmented and the red suits all skin colors.

Nikka jumbo eye pencils in Glow and Ash ($1 each)

I have plenty of eyeliners but not enough jumbo pencils. I immediatly gravitated to this two colors since makeup looks poped into my head. Glow is a shimmery nude/white oencil. It is great for lining the water line and the inner corner to make eyes pop. It can also be used as a highlighter for the face or shimmery eyeshadow. The ash is a metalic grey that is great for s light smokey eye.

Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque ($5)

I have been wanting this for a while. I love how mint smells and was looking for a mask that could add the tingly feeling experience to my face routine. This mask claims to dry up pimples, clear blackheads, and shrink pores. If it doesn't deliver all of that, atleast you will be refreshed after a walk around the humid, hot city.

TopiClear lemon cream lightening cream with sun screen ($2)

My uncle used to use this in his youth to clear up the dark spots that acne left behind. His skin is comletley spotless to this day. After I saw my aunt hand him atube of this to him today, I asked him if it worked. He just showed me a picture to show how effective this can be. In fact the only reason why I went shopping today was because I was going to buy this product. I hope it works.

Hello My fellow people!

Today I wanted to make a post introducing to you guys my boyfriend, Luis Andy. He is a very big part/chunk of my life so I figured it would be nice to introduce him to you guys :-) We have been together through it all guys like seriously!! I mean we started going out on December 10, 2005. Of course times were rough at times since we have practically gone through our teenage years together and seen each other grow up. But I must say we have also gone through really great times. I would say our roughest moment was when I went away for college, we broke up for almost two months but we are back together now and making things work. That is a very very short version of our story LOL. Right now we are each working on our personal lives as well as our lives together. Getting thru school and working. This dude in crazy about technology & computers just as I am crazy about makeup & beauty, I find that to be a very cute fun fact. One thing that I am very proud of is that we have grown and matured. We strive in keeping our relationship very healthy. No controlling each other and giving value to each other's opinions & plans. So yeah... Any of you guys in a relationship? Well I have been caught up in my own life and begun to slack again on you guys & my YT ppl. But I always come back as you guys can see. I just wanted to do a very small post on my day today. I think random posts like these make the blog a bit more interesting and gives you guys a chance to get to know me a bit better. Anywho, today I went to a small picnic/gathering with a few of my girlies. My roommate Jeunirys but I like to call her Jeun LOL, Her Beautiful Best Friend Nancy (she calls me MiMi lol silly girl), Also one of my friends Ny but I call her NyNy & my crazy friend dariana aka dari oh & a few other cool ppl. So yeah, it was fun to see everybody at this picnic in central park. I came home and if you guys haven't heard me mention this before I have a male best friend named steven (& i adore him) and his crazy brother Richard (I secretly adore that looser) but yeah I always hang out with these two and my boyfriend, Andy. We made some last minute plans to go see the Orphan movie. So we met up with my boyfriend after he came out of work and went to the movies. Guys this movie is super awesome like I was scared but I loved it. I would summarize but don't want to ruin it for future watchers. But yeah, we came out that movie and were just still amazed by everything that happened in it. If any of you guys have seen it please comment below with your opinions. Personally I loved Kate's character, she is such a smart woman and awesome mom but like what is good with Jon? Oh and Max is the cutest little thing ever!! But yeah I got home around 12:30 am & stuff. I spoke to the 3 losers I went to see the movie with and now I am blogging LOL so that was basically my day today. Nothing huge but it was quite fun meeting new people at the picnic and seeing a very good movie. I have no clue what I will be doing tomorrow but I hope I can get some work done on the YT channel as well as this blog. Wonderful people do not be afraid to ask questions and make requests btw. Hellooo lovely people,

So I am trying to expand my makeup collection because it is not the biggest due to me finishing all my older things and not doing constant makeup shopping because i had so many other things going on in my life. I am carefully choosing the things I want to add to my collection. I also sort of want to become a freelance makeup artist on the side just so you guys know. These are the things I have my eye on from sephora for now.

* Laura Mercier Undercover Pot: has 2 shades of concealer. The rosy one to cancel the blue/dark of under eyes & the more yellow tone to cover that rosy effect and also to cover blemishes. Then under it has setting powder.. how cool is that?! $35 <- ehh not so nice.

* Givenchy Phenomenon Eyes Mascara: this mascara gets every single little lash from the very root all the way to the top tips. I tried it at sephora and it was truly amazing! I am a mascara lover so I must add this to my collection. I also love the fact that it dries very quick to prepare for the next stroke which would add another layer of the mascara to make it darker and a fuller effect. amazing stuff $28 <-- say what?!

*Sephora Sun Disk: this is sephora's very known bronzer. It brings so much product it's like HUGE. Also I love the way it looks once applied. I feel like it is versatile because u can layer it to achieve the look you want.. simple bronzed, 1 layer OR summer sunkissed look, 3 layers. Catch my drift? $20 <- thumbs up!

*Twilight Fresh Face Glow: this is supposed to be a primer for before or even after makeup application. It has like a shimmery effect so I was thinking hmm.. maybe for highlighting & contouring. Because it would be good to give off that dewy look. yep :-) $36 <- Oh Lordy.

*Laura Gellar's Double Eye Appeal: This jumbo pencil is what I would use for eye brightening & highlighting. Don't take my word on this one because I have not gotten any swatches of it or gone near it. I'm assuming it's nice because it has 2 combinations which I believed would give a great highlight. It has a nude and a shimmer so those 2 together equal awesome-ness. $19.50 <- well... I guess.

*Sephora brand "tricks of trade" eye primer: This primer is said to be almost identical to Urban Decay's Primer Potion so I wanted to give it a shot. I tried it out on my hand with a few eyeshadows and it was sooo great. I want this! $12 <- AWESOME!

*Sephora brand eye primer pot: this eye primer is a bit more tacky & sticky I would say. So i want this specifically for those glitter shadows I have as well as the glitter pigments. I really hate it when I put these eyeshadows on and the glitter ends up everywhere in my face :-/ oh and guys get ready for the price $8 <- Definitely getting this ASAP!!

*NARS bronzing powder (laguna): I went to sephora just to try things out and see what I really wanted to get for future reference basically. I try everything on and one of those things was a bronzer. After I applied this bronzer everybody was like "omg where is that bronzer?!" and "omg what kind of bronzer is that?" people thought I owned it he he :-) but it was just the Laguna color bronzer from NARS. $30 <- Not that bad, NARS is pretty good. Worth the money.

The total of this would be $187.50 (YIKES!) but I will try to ebay some of the ebay-able things LOL the rest I am going to save up for. After all it's all about the quality of the product, the only thing is... this recession is killing us!! Regardless, I want to build a very good quality makeup collection so this is all worth it!! Well this is my first Haul I'm excited to share a few things I bought today. So my father gave me some money and I just HAD to spend it on none other than MAKEUP! So I went to both Rite Aid and a department store called CEE & CEE. At Rite Aid there is a Jane Minerals sale and I so totally love the brand idk it feels so smooth and natural on the face. So the sale was buy one get the second one 50% off and i decided to buy none other than mini eye shadow palettes because they had unfortunately ran out of everything else! ugh BUMMER!!! guess I'm not the only Jane Mineral lover in the Bronx =]... The one with Six colors AKA Jewel Tones was $4.99 & the Quad AKA Violets (regular price $4.49) on sale $2.24 so I felt that was a great bargain even a dollar less is a plus in my book! Now in the Department Store CEE & CEE is great, I think we only Have them in the Bronx but maybe not who knows well anyway its close by the Rite Aid and they sell ELF!!!! which makes me so happy =].. they don't have as much as in the website but its something and guess what don't have to pay for shipping! just a dollar plus the tax -sigh- now there I bought a few thing I felt were a necessity Clarifying Pressed Powder (Tone 1 & yes i love it i have used it before), Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder(Sun Kissed/ Never Tried it so I will probably review it later on)3 brushes (Blending Eye Brush, Defining Eye Brush & Eyelash and Brow Wand), Wet Glos Lash & Brown Clear Mascara, & Last but not Least Brightening Eye Color Liner(Black) It says its the new and improved formula so I will probably review that as well!.. I went to see my boyfriend for a bit since he had oral surgery but then we (my best friend steven, his doofy brother Richard lol & I) convinced him to get up when he felt better and drink a pina colada with us at Bubba Gump. Heyyy Lovely & Wonderful Blog members,

First of all I am like so happy right now...Like very happy! Let me just ramble and talk to you guys for a bit. I am a girl who at times second guess' herself. I have been in love with makeup ever since I was allowed to wear it and I was scared to kind of come out and show my talent or even tell people because I thought that maybe they did not see it how I saw it. Maybe they wouldn't think it was a big deal. Little by little people obviously started seeing how I did my own and suggested I did theirs and that is how I began. The same thing happen when family and friends suggested I publish my work over the internet. I was like no.. i'm not good enough, I have to be over the top good for people to like me and ect. But here I am doing makeup looks,reviews,hauls and other random things for you guys on my free time and i'm starting to build some confidence all THANKS to you guys. You guys definitely do not now how helpful this is to me right now. Well needless to say the same thing happened when my boyfriend,cousin, and friends suggested I start a YouTube channel. I said "oh no! i can't do that nobody would subscribe to me I am not good enough and i'm not good with public speaking" well here I am thinking and planning what to film because whytheblush's YouTube channel was definitely created. Thank you babe, thank you Rosanna, Vanessa, Mary, Kathy and every other person who has pushed me to do things I am capable of. If it would have been up to me I would never do the things I am able to do because I wouldn't think I am good enough. Hello there blogers!

So I've been missing for about 2 weeks and it wasn't intentional I've just been kind of busy trying to spend time with everyone since once college starts again its crunch time!! Now onto the post! =]
So recently I bought tinted moisturizer and concealer from Wet & Wild even though I am a HUGE fan of ELF for my everyday look I thought I would try W&W since it is as inexpensive as ELF but I feel like the price range is the ONLY thing they have in common! Why? While ELF is inexpensive yet feels light on your face and has GREAT coverage as well as giving you a nice clean feel, These W&W products feel heavy and cover very little!... The tinted moisturizer is meant to give the face a little color but most of all moisturize and instead it made my face REALLY dry, when I applied my powder foundation my face felt and looked HORRIBLE the moisturizer also gets your face sticky after a while! Now the concealer.. is nothing compared to ELF its too pasty and dries very quickly when its applied but most of all its very hard to blend in since it does dry very quickly.. It seems to be that beauty with world wide appeal is a constant export of the Brazilian trade. Names like Adriana Lima, Gisele Bundchen, Alessandra Ambrioso, Emmanuelle DePaula, Isabeli Fontana, Raica Oliveira, Ana Beatriz Barros, Ana Claudia Michels, and Fernanda Tavarez, to name a few, are sought after in the fashion world to be the faces of international products. We love to hate them, but there is something about their skin, their hair, their faces that make us secretly (or not secretly) yearn to be Brazilian for a day. Brazilian women are also very diverse, which provides an access to different beauty secrets that work for some and not for others. Hopefully, the following products will help us get a little bit closer to becoming a Bombshell because you do not have to be Brazilian to be one… YAYYYYY. : )

For Smooth, Shiny, Brazilian-like Skin

Vaseline Intensive Cocoa Butter Vitalizing Gel Body Oil with Brazil Nut ($6-$8):

I have been using this product on and off for 6 months. It is sooo moisturizing! When applied to the skin, the skin gives off a nice glow without looking oily. The smell is very nutty and natural. I love it! It is best to apply onto damp skin right after showering or bathing. This product can be found in stores like CVS, Rite Aid, Target, Walgreens, etc…

Johnson and Johnson Baby Oil with Lavender ($3- $5): The age old classic. This product is a daily go to for me. I reach for it more than I reach for the Vaseline oil. The Lavender smell is relaxing unlike the sometimes, too poignant original baby powder smell. I apply it right after the shower unto damp skin. The application is smoother and quicker than the Vaseline Intensive Care, which is a gel. The after effect is just as smooth and glowy as the gel. You can find this pretty much anywhere.

For Amazing, Nourished Brazilian-like Hair:

Brazilian Keratin Treatment ($150- $600): The Brazilian Keratin Hair Treatment naturally straightens your hair. It produces spectacular results - the hair is shiny, sleek and healthy. For the time being, no big U.S. hair or beauty company is selling it. Only small firms are importing products from Brazil or creating their own formulations. The brands include Brazilian Keratin Treatment, Brazilian Hair Straightening and Brazilian Blowout. The Brazilian Keratin Hair Treatment is ideal for those with tumbleweed hair. It is great for people who can’t do a salon blowout at home or get blowout every week. It eliminates frizz and unwanted curl while giving hair added texture and control. The treatment can be used on the majority of hair types, even chemically treated hair, color treated hair, relaxed hair and on highlighted hair, without causing damage. The treatment takes 1 ½ to 4 hours; the more damaged your hair is the longer the treatment lasts. Depending on the length and thickness of your hair, it can cost between $150 and $600. Using a 450-degree iron, a solution made with active keratin is sealed onto the outer layer of the hair cuticle. It sticks to the cuticle’s naturally rough edges. Also, I have a lot of hair and it’s lengthy, which means it is more expensive since Keratin is sold by the ounce. Ask you hair stylist about the Keratin Treatment.

Olive Oil ($1- $3)- Yes, plain oil olive oil will do the trick. It is not as drastic as the keratin, but the shine it gives is irresistible. I use olive oil as a deep hot oil treatment. I heat up a small amount of oil in a cup in the microwave. I apply it to damp unwashed hair. I leave it on for 30 minutes, then I rinse and shampoo. The results are incredible: Soft, shiny manageable hair.

For a Flawless, Bronzed Face:

Bronzer ($1- $28): Bronzer should be a staple in every make up kit. It provides a natural glow if applied correctly. I use different types of bronzers (Matte, Shimmer, Liquid, Powder) depending on the weather, the day, and the look. I usually apply with a fan brush, and I focus on the contours of my cheeks, the temples, and a little on the nose. Method of application varies per person, so just practice and see what works best for you.

For Sultry, Sexy Eyes:

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Eye pencil in Baked ($16)- Sultry eyes does not necessarily mean black eye liner. A bronze/gold liner, like Urban Decay’s, can add the perfect emphasis to the eyes without looking harsh. I apply the eyeliner to the water line and the inner eye corner, and then I add black mascara to the top and bottom lashes. It is very natural-looking, but sexy. You don’t necessarily have to go out and buy the urban decay liner (even though it’s smooth and creamy). Any gold/bronze eye pencil or eye kohl can be used. Even gold eye shadow can do the trick. Just line the bottom lash line with eye shadow and dab into the inner corner of the eye.

(Aside from the Brazilian Keratin, I have used all of the products I have mentioned.)

Initiation into the World of Blogging

Hey guys! I'm so excited about becoming an author on this great blog. Michelle and Rosanna are beauty enthusiasts, like myself, and that will just make blogging even more exciting and entertaining. Now, a little bit about me... I am nineteen years old. I am a student in NYU, which I really enjoy and love!!! I hope to go to law school. Ultimately, I want to become a Supreme Court judge, but there are many other things I want to do in life. For example, I want to write a novel and several other smaller books. Now, let us talk about how my affair with makeup and beauty products came about. As a young girl I always looked at how the women that surrounded me behaved. Fortunately, they all had a beauty regime, which I thought was intriguing. There was nothing more fascinating than sitting at my grandmother’s vanity to look at all the bottles and tubes (she is a licensed beautician). I started buying makeup slowly, but the biggest growth spurt has been within the last couple of months, since I have nothing else to do besides shop. I love how makeup is able to transform someone, providing confidence or a hint of allure. Makeup also helps enhance certain features while minimizing those that are not so desirable. I do not discriminate when it comes to beauty products. It all depends on what works best. But as much as I love makeup, I believe the most important part of a beauty routine is skin maintenance. You can expect many reviews on skin care products, skin care methods, and hauls from my part; I love offering my opinion, and I love shopping and testing out new products.

The Truth About: Cellulite

Hey Ladies (& maybe some gentlemen? LOL)

I decided to make a post about cellulite because it's something a lot of people know very little about and/or are confused about. So I hope you guys get to learn a lot through this post :-)

THE FACTS

- What is it? Cellulite is lumpy bits of fat that is closer to the skin and pushes against the connective tissue located under the skin called Septae. <-- Click to see

- What does it look like? It looks like various dimples on your skin. Many people compare it to the appearance of cottage cheese.

- Who gets it? Anybody can get it. Men or Women. It affects mostly women or girls after puberty. About 90 percent of women have it. There are many factors that can determine if you are prone to get cellulite such as age, thickness of your skin, how much body fat you have or if many people in your family have it (genes).

- Isn't Cellulite caused by being overweight? FALSE, Cellulite affects the skinny girls more that the overweight girls simply because it's not being fat that causes the lumps of cellulite but the fat deposits that are really close to your skin.

- Where on the body do people get it? stomach, butt, and mostly thighs.

So if you guys have noticed you do have cellulite read along for ways to reduce the appearance of it or get rid of the majority of it...

How do I reduce the appearance of Cellulite on my body?

- Cellulite shows more on light skin so if you'd like for it to show less try spray on tanning or a self tanning lotion.

- Attention Girls: wearing panties causes cellulite (crazy right? but yep!) The elastic around the thighs and below the stomach that the panties have cause for more fat build up near the skin & more dimples. Yeah I know you do not want to go commando but I would suggest not wearing panties to sleep OR wearing more thongs & booty shorts which do not have the tight elastic.

- Drink lots and lots of water!

- Aerobic exercise & strength training are the "killers" of cellulite BIG TIME! You might want to try those.

- Watch what you eat, try to reduce the amount of calories you intake daily to reduce the amount of fat close to your skin that causes those lumpy dimples.

- Use a good product that helps reduce the appearance of the cellulite. I recommend the Nivea Products such as: NIVEA Good-Bye Cellulite 30-Day Body Beauty Program (pills & gel cream) Also Nivea Body Good-bye Cellulite Patches (I have been using these things for 2 weeks an I'm seeing a difference!)

Hope you guys gained some cellulite knowledge. For those of you who do have it I hope you guys learned ways to reduce it or get rid of it. Do not be embarrassed about it, almost everybody has it. It is very rare for people not to have it. Maybe it shows less but it's most likely there lol (pinch your skin and see those dimples show). Until next time! :-)

Helloooooo Wonderful People,

it's like 5 am and I can't freaking sleep! :-/ I got home around 2 am because I went to see "Bruno" with my boyfriend, younger brother, and his younger brother. I am getting sort of tired and should get some sleep cuz now that I think about it I have a lot to work to do for this blog and other things. Anyhow Here are my updates...

-I plan on posting a few fun things just to shake things up a little for example: "What does your facebook status say about you?" I saw that headline somewhere one day and I thought to myself like "whoa" some of my friends do say the same things all the time. So i'm going to come up with a blog post based on my facebook friends and let you know what kinds of messages people send off. Maybe you'll see a pattern in your own statuses.

-Secondly I have toooo many hauls and reviews to do for you guys, so many that I barely have time to do blog posts on makeup creations. I have yet to do one Makeup blog post tutorial!! Oh Lordy LOL Anyhow Upcoming Hauls will be: "Lot Less Haul", "E.L.F. Haul", "Forever21 Haul", and "Conway Haul", You will be surprised at all the cheap stuff I got at these places. Reviews will be done after the Hauls on things I have LOVED so far and also those which you should not waste one penny on LOL.

- I would like to do a contest once I have more members. The contests will be simple things and the winner obviously would get free stuff from meeee :-) so PRETTY PLEASE tell all your friends if they're into makeup, beauty, or fashion to PLEASE become a member as well as subscribe so that we can have our first contest!

- I plan on posting things such as my monthly goals so that you guys can help me track my accomplishments and who knows maybe inspire some of you to set some goals. Also monthly wish-lists to give you guys an idea of stuff i'd like to try. And more about me & my life so that maybe you guys can get to know me more :-)

- Lastly, I have been thinking about starting my own channel on youtube but I'm going back and forth with this thought. I might give it a shot though so I will record some of my makeup looks. This way it will be easier for you guys to see what I do instead of just seeing the pics.

Well this post is about these products i have been using for at least 2 weeks. I hope you guys enjoy && thank you so much for visiting the blog & supporting it means A LOT to Michelle and I.

-Now moving along to the review I will be rating everything from 1 to 5!

1. MAC STUDIO MIST: Well i received this as a gift from the one and only Michelle =]. When I first saw it I won't lie I thought it was going to be another heavy foundation that I wouldn't like but my assumption was sooooo wrong!! I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! it is light, easy to use, if u spray it right onto your face u feel like your face has been frozen so I suggest spraying it on the foundation brush or blending wedge then applying it.

2.WET & WILD: MEGA VOLUME: I must say I am extremelyyyyyyyy picky when it comes to mascara but on a random trip to Duane Reade I was looking for a mascara that gave me thicker lashes since I had lost most of my lashes in a bad experience with false lashes I used for prom a year ago! So i ran into this product and saw the price only $2.99!! so I just had to try it! and may I say job well done for its price. I dont like the fact that there is a lot of clumping SOMETIMES (idk its wierd some days its find and some it clumps up a lot) but i just seperate the lashes with another brush.

SEPHORA SUN DISK: I went on a purposed trip to Sephora the day after my birthday which was to get my free birthday gift duhh! lol but hey as a makeup fanatic I just HAD to pick up a few things and one of them was their bronzer!.. I have other bronzers but I named this one my baby because I truly fell inlove! I love it from the beautiful glow it gives to the lightness of it I find it can be used for both everyday use and special outings. This product is just great I think its a must buy to try yourself!

4. SEPHORA'S EYE MAKEUP REMOVAL: This was another product I bought aswell on my last visit to Sephora. It is the "New and improved" formula but for me it is a love and hate situation. I like it because it does its job in one swipe unlike other makeup removals you have to do it over and over like 20 times so it can come off. But I dislike it because it makes my face really sticky. I feel like the previous formula leaves the face smoother but that might just be me.

5. E.L.F Studio's mini makeup collection: I received this as a free gift from E.L.F on my last purchase. I can honestly say I expected more than what it is to be from the studio line. The colors are all neutral. The tools it has are exactly what that makeup kit is MINI! they are so tiny I can barely hold them, I surely wasn't expecting huge but hey at least a decent size. The brow powder is a little bit to glittery for my taste as well as a couple of the eye shadows. Since it is a lot of neutral colors I use them usually for base. The only thing I really like from the kit is the lip gloss, they are long lasting and have a variety of colors which go well with any skin tone!

Helloooo Guys,

-First off I want to say thank you so much to everybody that has visited & supported. I am very grateful for those who have left comments, given compliments, became a member and simply just dropped by and read our content. It means a lot to me.

-Now off to my e.l.f brushes review!! Ok so as you can see in the picture I have numbered the brushes 1-12 so I will review them one by one. I will rate them from 1-10.

-1: SMUDGE brush: This brush is okay I would say. It did cost a dollar but I feel like if i use it too hard the small sponge applicator is going to just fall off. I barely use it anyway but here and there when I want to even out my smudging I use it lightly. I guess for a dollar it's alright.

-2 MASCARA brush: This brush can come in handy. You know sometimes when your mascara gets clumpy? well u can use this to remove the clumpy-ness. Simply pass it thru your lashes to remove the excess clumpy mascara before it dries out and it gives good results. If your mascara is extra clumpy and nasty after application you might want to use two of these against each other through your lashes and it will definitely remove the excess and clumpy-ness. (what a word: clumpy-ness?! but u know what I mean right? LOL)

-3 BROW COMB & BRUSH brush: it's a cool & useful brush. I personally use it when I trim my eyebrows (or my brother's LOL he's not gay btw) and I mean it works. I do think that the bristles on the brush are kind of hard tho but I don't really mind that since it's on my eyebrows not my face. The comb works fine also, some people complained that they received it missing a bristle but it's whatever it does it's job.

-4 LIP brush: This is a simple brush for the lips that does what it has to do. It isn't my favorite lip brush just because I have a better one with a cute handle BUT it does do what it is made to do so no complaints on my part. On the other hand other people have said that when they first got it it was sort of hard and if this happens just move the bristles a bit and it will loosen up. I believe this happens with most lip brushes.

-5 SLANTED SHADER brush: I like this brush. I use it for highlighting around my brow bone, tear ducts, and under my waterline. Since it is slanted it makes it easier for me for some reason. But yeah it definitely works even for blending. I wish it was more fuller (more bristles) or something but it does the job so I like it.

-6 BLENDING brush: The most AWESOME blending brush everrrr! I totally love it. It blends really really well. I love to use this for like real dramatic eyeshadow because the blending is just soo good BUT it's also good for simple eyeshadow blending. I mean if it works for dramatic blending then it works for everything else I think. This is what I call a "Must Get".

-7 EYESHADOW brush: Another awesome brush. This brush has a lot of bristles so it is able to pack on a lot of the product. I really love this brush and have used it a lot. another "Must Get"

-8 EYELINER brush: It's an okay brush to have around that does what it has to do. I don't like the fact that it's straight not slanted. Slanted eyeliner brushes make it easier. But it does do it's job well so for it's price (just $1) it's fairly good.

-9 CONCEALER brush: This brush is soooo tiny. I doubt it does a good job concealing under the eyes or anywhere else but like a small pimple or anything tiny. It is also very hard and stiff. I would say it would be a good brush for small details for example applying lash glue to false lashes, applying gemstones to dramatic eye looks, creating lines for dramatic looks and any small details you would want to do to ur makeup. For the job it was created to do it doesn't really do it's job but it is able to do other things well so again for it's price it is good to keep around for the other things it can do.

-10 FOUNDATION brush: For foundation I believe it is too small BUT it works great for concealing so I guess it makes up for that tiny concealer brush above LOL I also like using this brush to prime my eyes with primer. I like this brush a lot but not to apply foundation.

-11 BLUSH & BRONZING brush: ehh..not the best. The brush is hard, loose and doesn't have enough bristles. It does not really does it's job. When I tried using it to apply blush the application was very concentrated and rough. I keep it around but do not really use it. Maybe i'll find another use for it. What do u guys suggest?

-12 ALL OVER FACE brush: hmm.. I am not too convinced by this brush. It is very rough for my taste and this bothers me because I do need it for all over my face. I washed this brush twice and it did become a bit softer. I am going to try to condition it and see if it becomes more soft. Btw when i first washed it the water came out red since the brush bristles are red. My friend likes it because she uses it very lightly so she does not feel the roughness too much. I guess it's only a dollar so whatever but I'm sure u guys can find a better brush for all over the face.

Well this post is sort of long but heyyy it was 12 brushes to review lol I hope this was helpful. Over all the 12 pack of brushes was worth it to me because I got to try all of them and now I know what I would buy again or would not buy. Maybe u guys won't have to get the 12 pack and can just get them separately since now you know which are good and which are not but if u'd like try them out urselves as well.

Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash for men and women!!

So my Boyfriend and I have a combination of both oily and dry skin. Meaning we constantly were having acne issues! Even though for women makeup can work wonders there is nothing like a nice clean soft face! As well as for men you want to feel confident and a have soft acne free face! So we were blessed when we found these products one day on a random trip to rite aid I decided to buy these both of these products. Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment 6 fl oz is $6.89 available at Rite Aid Online. Neutrogena Men Skin Clearing Face Wash 5.1 fl oz is $6.29 available at Rite Aid Online aswell. Since I have been using the product my face has been as close as pimple and oil free as it can get as well as my boyfriends face have been much clearer and less oily which was a big issue for him. NOW.. these products do resolve the oil and acne problem but if your face is like mine both oily and dry you do have to use a moisterizer everynight to restore the dryness of your face to normal I use regular AVENNO smooth moisterizing lotion!.. as far as for men my boyfriend tried Neutrogena MenTriple Protect Face Lotion SPF 20!... Hello there!!!!

Sooo Michelle has gotten me into this whole blogging thing that I used to actually feel like it was extremely complicated but after she explained it to me, I am EXTREMELY EXCITED to be part of it and share little bits and pieces of myself with you guys! For starters My name is Rosanna Lizardo and recently turned 19! (wohoo =]) I currently attend CUNY Lehman college, planing to double major in Political Science and Sociology with a minor in Women Studies! many people say I'm crazy for trying to be a double major but guess what I'm not crazy I just like to set high goals for myself that I know I am able to accomplish with passion and dedication. Nothing is out of our reach we just make excueses for ourselves that make it seem that way! Well i can say my number one hobby has become makeup. A few years back if someone was to ask me what was my hobby I wouldn't have anything to say but during the past years I have discovered this hidden passion and talent that helps me express myself. I enjoy doing makeup on other people more than myself because I know I am beautiful inside and out but there are some people that don't see themselves in the same light, makeup sometimes helps them see that outter beauty with just a touch of a few colors and BAM! a whole different person with confidence is born. The art of makeup is not my only talent but its the talent that lets me express myself the most! I love to have goals and plans to have my life in order, stability is key to success. One goal leads to another goal and another which means u will have a never ending list of accomplishments! Well a few changes are about to happen at whytheblush and the very first one is that *drum roll* we have a new author!!! YAY! Well u guys have already seen her face below with the "make up on the birthday girl" post. She is also new to blogging and blogger itself but she's what i like to call makeup and beauty crazy like me LOL. She is awesome so I know you guys will love her. Chances are we might get a third author but that will be confirmed tomorrow. The way this will work is very simple: all of our work will have our name as a label and then another label of what it is. Hello once again Guys,

Here is one of the many promised upcoming Hauls, my MAC haul. I got a few MAC things the other day just to try them out. I got the MAC Lipstick in Cocoamour. I thought this color was very pretty it's like a nude/pink color and it looks cute when you put it on. I also got a MAC blush in Sunbasque which is like a shimmery orangey/bronzy looking color. It looks very nice once it is on. It is a shimmery kind of blush not a matte blush. Lastly I got the famous Fluidline (gel liner) in blacktrack. Everybody seems to be talking about this gel liner and i swatched it after getting it and it seems pretty cool. So yeah these are the things I got from MAC and hopefully I will start using them soon when i do my makeup or makeup on others. I will put up looks with these specific items so you guys will hear me mention them. Hope you enjoyed this haul. More coming soon.
